Aragorn (parody of Maverick)
by Michael Bickley

(Sung to the theme from the 1950s TV Western, Maverick)

Who is the tall dark Ranger there?
Aragorn is the name.
Ridin' a trail to the Dimrill Stair,
Gandalf's his companion,
Kingship is his claim.

Smooth as the Tower of the Sun,
Aragorn is the name.
Free as the breeze in Lorien,
One of Nine Companions,
Sent with Isildur's Bane.

Rivendell ring your bell,

Fare thee well, Undomiel,
Arwen's the lady that he loves the best.

Dunland to Dwimordene,
Equal of kings and queens,
Aragorn is a legend of the West!

(Repeat chorus -- with feeling)
